Everyone who is passionate about his or her favourite river will tell you that the fish in said river fight harder or are more aggressive than those elsewhere. With Hafralonsa this seems to actually ring true. The fish often hit you from nowhere with such aggression you wonder if you are dreaming. Once hooked these fish really school you and it’s not the strength so much as the stamina which make playing these fish such a joy. Don’t be fooled in the late season as the coloured fish can give as good a fight as any fresh fish.
