Fly Fish Iceland Ltd, based in the heart of the Cotswolds, was co-founded by Peter Rippin in August of 2006 to offer a specialised approach to Icelandic fly-fishing. Peter has extensive knowledge of the industry and has operated many of the finest and most exclusive fishing operations in the world, working with many of the most talented fishery and fly fishing destination managers. His dedication to fly fishing as well as his passion for Iceland come together in the creation of Fly Fish Iceland.

Peter is ably assisted by Jack Selby, who has guided both Salmon and Trout fishing around the world and has fished in many exciting and unusual destinations including New Zealand and India. In addition to time in the office, Jack spends most of the season working and guiding in Iceland. Building an intimate knowledge of the rivers as well as the country and its character as a whole, Jack will advise you on all aspects of your trip from what techniques to adapt at a given river and time to the best way to fully engage with the Icelandic cultural points of interest.

August 2006 provided the opportunity to establish a partnership with an Icelandic eco-investment company. Their goal is to nurture and protect many of Iceland’s prime salmon, sea trout and trout rivers by way of facilitating the finest quality fly fishing, accommodation, guiding and service. At the same time they devise and implement environmentally sensitive policies and practices to promote the future health and vitality of those rivers. Fly Fish Iceland is proud to be involved and associated with the positive ecological and scientific work that is being undertaken in Iceland.
