The Svalbardsa lodge is a traditional Icelandic small river lodge - comfortable although by no means as luxurious as are some of the newer Icelandic lodges. It happily accommodates 6 fishers (so it is perfectly feasible to take wives or family to rod-share the three rods.)

Typically self-catered when fished by local fly fishers, Fly Fish Iceland arranges for our 'lady in the north east' to cater for private parties at Svalbardsa and some of our other rivers in the region. This means that guests can genuinely relax and all linens, kitchenware and cleaning is taken care of for the fishing party during the stay alongside preparation and service of cooked breakfast, lunches and dinners.
